Limping on a back hind leg can be due to a number of things including trauma, Lyme disease, ACL injury, or hip problems. I'd recommend resting Bailey and not allowing her to jump, run, or use stairs. If this does not improve the lameness quickly she should see a veterinarian for an examination. She may need pain medication to help treat or X-rays to determine the cause of the limping. Please remember there are no safe over the counter pain medications for dogs so you will need to have these prescribed by a veterinarian. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach and I hope Bailey is feeling better soon!

Hi! Thanks for entrusting us with Cookie's care today! Lameness can be a sign of a few things that range from a muscle sprain to even a fracture. I recommend that you have her evaluated by your veterinarian so that this can be further assessed which will likely include radiographs. Treatment will be dependent on findings though at the very least pain control medications can be prescribed. Good luck! Hoping for a speedy recovery!
