For an average healthy weight 0.5 kg kitten with an expect 4-5 kg adult weight the caloric intake should be about 150 calories. However, for every 0.5kg that the kitten gains the caloric intake increases by about 50 calories . So at 1 kg he should be offered about 200 calories, and at 1.5 kg he should be offered about 250 calories. Once he is an adult and has stopped growing the caloric intake usually decreases to about 250-300 per day. This is average. Some require more and some less. Best of luck and thank you for using Pet Coach.
