Did electrolytes cause my rabbit's death after she stopped eating?

Can a rabbit die because of too much electrolyte.The doctor prescribed electrolyte because she wouldn't eat.

I am very sorry to hear about your loss. That is not possible at all, it is very likely that there was a severe gastrointestinal disease (infection, impaction, hypomotility) which very often is difficult to cure if in advanced stages.
