Can my cat safely drink a little eggnog during the holidays?

Pet's info: Cat | Bombay | Female | spayed | 19 years and 6 months old | 5 lbs

I give my cats a little eggnog around this time of year maybe once or twice every 2 or 3 weeks.not much, maybe like 4tsp.my question is,is it ok to do that since it's not alot and not every day?

Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to address your concern. Egg nog is not toxic to cats. However, giving too much may cause vomiting / diarrhea which can lead to dehydration. What you are giving is likely not enough to cause vomiting / diarrhea and should be fine. I hope this helps!
