What's the weird build-up in my rabbit's ears? Is it an ear infection?

Hi, I just recently noticed there was some weird almost like build up in my rabbits ears. I’m not sure what it is, I was able to get a decent picture of one ear. I plan on calling the vet tomorrow since they are closed now, I’m just worried and want an answer soon.

Hello. Rabbits are prone to ear infections & parasites like ear mites. They can also produce a significant amount of ceruminous material in the canals . This is rarely of any significant consequence & just may require some additional care for the ears. Your rabbit will be fine tonight, so do not worry. Your veterinarian will throughly examine & clean Jack's ears, & make recommendations about keeping his ears clean & comfortable. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
