Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | unneutered | 80 lbs
My dog has been acting lethargic past couple days and today is the worst. He is a 6 year old golden retriever yellow lab mix. He can barely walk up stairs and is very sore when his legs are lifted at all. He has puss coming from his gentian area. He's not lucked it or seemed to even notice at all. He hasn't eaten or drank anything at all since yesterday. I bathed him and he could barely handle it. He's very weak and his nose is dry. I'm very concerned as to what is the cause and if it's an infec

When there is pus there is generally an infection. Try to clean the area with mild soap and water and flush out the prepuce as this can help. With sore legs and no appetite I would worry about arthritis either from age/injury or an immune mediated or tick borne disease. It is best to take him to the vet so they can do lab work to get you a definitive answer and start IV fluids if needed for dehydration. You can try pedialyte or Gatorade or boiled chicken and rice or yogurt or baby food to help until you can get him seen
