My dog has what looks like pimples on her privates. Also the pores in the surrounding area are black. Its been like this for a few weeks and it doesn't seem to bother her too much but new "pimples" keep developing, what should I do?

It looks like Selene may have a skin infection. I would recommend bringing her to the veterinarian so they can dispense antibiotics to help it resolve. Due to the location of it, I would also recommend having them test her urine to make sure she does not have a urinary tract infection. She could have one and with her licking created a skin infection. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This looks like a focal infection. You can try to use chlorhexidine containing pads (such as the Douxo chlorhexidine 3% PS pads) to clean the are twice daily for 7 days. You may find these online or at your local pet store. If there is no improvement or in the meantime this appears to be getting worse, have her evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Good luck and have a good night!
