Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Wool itself isn't toxic, the problem would be if she ate enough to cause an obstruction. Signs an obstruction would be vomiting, not eating and lethargy. If Lucy isn't doing anything abnormal, continue to watch her closely and if any of the above symptoms occur then take her to the Vet. I hope this helps and I wish Lucy the very best!

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! All new toys are wonderful to pets! They tend to be obsessed over them for a while then the charm wears off. Wool is not toxic and small pieces or threads ingested shouldn't cause a problem. If she eats a lot it could cause an obstruction. So if the toy is falling apart I would throw it away. I hope this helps and I wish you and Gamora the very best!
