Can i use cefpet for stomach infection and skin infection. Is it effective in any one case or both...?? Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Female | unspayed | 28.6 lbs

Cefpet, or cefpodoxime, is a cephalosporin antibiotic that can be used to treat bacterial skin infections in many cases, provided that the bacteria are not resistant to this medication. I'm not sure what type of stomach infection you are referring to since the stomach does not typically become infected without the presence of serious medical conditions. As a result, I can't comment as to the possible efficacy of cefpodoxime in this situation.
