Why are my dog's green crusty scabs growing back after treatment?

My Labradoodle has green crusty scabs on his back. The vet shaved them off and put him on Zymox. The scabs appear to be growing back. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 11 years and 4 months old | 104 lbs

Without actually seeing Baer it is hard to state if it is something that needs oral antibiotics or a medicated shampoo. I would let your veterinarian know that the scabs are coming back and the medication isn't helping. They may be able to prescribe something else or they may want to see Baer again depending on what it originally looked like.
