My dog's ear mites aren't improving with OTC meds. What's next & cost?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | American Foxhound | Male | neutered | 1 year and 4 months old

My dog has earmites and I have been treating him with over the counter medication. It doesn't appear to be getting better, what can I do? How much will it cost me?

You will need to take Noah to the vet, there are some excellent prescription products to treat ear mites with 100% success, this should not cost much either just the price of the consultation and the ear mite treatment (probably under 100$).
