How do I build a budgie nesting box with the right materials?

If you are looking to build your own nesting box, there are many websites that will provide information. Use your preferred search engine and search for "DIY budgie nesting box". Boxes are made of plywood and are glued or nailed together. A heater is typically not necessary. You can allow the hen to incubate the eggs until they hatch. Breeders will usually pull the chicks at two weeks of age and handfeed/handraise them from that point until sale.
