Why is my 7-week puppy pooping worms, constipated, and itchy ears?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 12 days old

I have a 7 week old puppy. He was just given his first round of shots on Monday. Today he's pooping worms. Should I be concerned? I also believe he's constipated. What should I do? Lastly I gave him is first bath on last night and he's still scratching his ears. I made sure no water entered his ears and I purchased skin spray to help restore the moisture back into his skin. BUT i didn't put any in his ears. What should I do to help "possible" dry ears?

Olie is probably suffering from an ear infection rather than dry ears, this is common in puppies and can be caused by various reasons (mites, bacteria or yeast). for the ear infection he will need a course of prescription ear drops that you can get from your vet. Olie will also need to be dewormed as soon as possible to get rid of the intestinal worms. if he has already be dewormed you will need to repeat that 2 weeks after the first time.
