What causes my dog's lower eyelids to droop and make her look sleepy?

My dog has these dark creases under her eye that have been there since we got her. They make her look sleepy. Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | unspayed

It appears that Tinkerbell has a mild condition of ectropion, where the bottom eyelid hangs out a little more than it should. This doesn't appear to be causing any problems at the moment and usually it doesn't. It's possible that this could get worse as she ages and there may be a need for surgery if she happens to have problems associated with it. I hope that helps.
