Is Meow Mix dry cat food better quality than cheaper Friskies?

I knew that Friskies dry food is much cheaper than Meow Mix dry food. But one of the best seller in Amazon is Meow Mix dry food, not the Friskies even it's much cheaper than Meow Mix. Now I'm wondering, why they don't want to buy Friskies dry food instead Meow Mix, since Friskies dry food is much cheaper. So is that mean that Meow Mix dry food is much better than Friskies dry food? I am not going to feed my cats one of these. I am just curious...

Great question! When a cat food costs more, its' because of the ingredients used in the food. Meow Mix likely has better quality ingredients than Friskies (but not as good as the higher priced foods like Royal Canin), and owners typically are very concerned with feeding their pets the best quality food they can afford. That would be my guess as to why Meow Mix is the most popular food on Amazon even though there is a cheaper option. I hope this helps :-)

I think Friskies is the slightly better diet. You can also feed a combo of wet and dry, most cats enjoy some variety. You may also look at Purina, they produce a nice food and tend to be less expensive than some of the other foods. Please post again if you have any further questions!

I don't normally recommend Meow Mix, as it's a very low-quality food with lots of fillers, artificial dyes, etc. I'm not sure what's available in Jordan, but if possible, I would prefer Iams, Purina, or Royal Canin - you can see if your local pet store carries these brands, or order them online or through your veterinary clinic if needed.

I would feed whichever brand your cat(s) prefer. Both diets do meet the minimum standards for nutrition and are fine as long as your cat doesn't have any health issues like urinary crystals or stones. You are providing them adequate nutrition and it is important they eat what they prefer and you can reasonably afford.

Whiskas or Purina Friskies which is better?
Thank you for submitting your question regarding Runiyah. They will both be similar in quality as far as cat food. I would feed her whichever food that she likes better. You also want her to have a glossy coat on the food and no vomiting or diarrhea. I hope this information helps!

How is meo dry food for kitten?
I suspect this is more of a mid grade food. The better foods would be Royal Canin or Purina Proplan. Ok why is my cat eating. The Sheba brand cat food over friskies or 9 lives is because the Sheba brand is better quality food and it cost more
Hi and thanks for posting on Boop by Petco! Sheba brand is a slightly better formula than the Friskies and 9 lives. It may also be that the Sheba brand food is more palatable to her than the others. Like people, cats can have variable tastes so it may be that she just prefers this brand over the others.

Hi there and thank you for using Boop by Petco to address your concern. Friskies is not the best choice for cat food and I usually reserve recommending this brand for sick patients that won't eat anything and need a little more enticing for the appetite. Friskies contains mostly biproducts in the ingredients but it is not going to put her life in danger. Friskies meets the AAFCO statement and all life stage requirements and the truth is, I've seen many cats on Friskies their entire life and they looked great. I do typically recommend Science Diet or Royal Canin as my first choice recommendations as I know that have quite a bit of research they have put into their diets and from personal experience I find that both are great diets. It's really important to consider your sources when it comes to information about pet foods. For example, a popular pet food "review" website here in the US is run by a human dentist with no veterinary training. I recommend feeding balanced diets that meet the World Small Animal Veterinary Association nutrition guidelines (https://wsava.org/global-guidelines/global-nutrition-guidelines/). Examples of these good quality brands, which I recommend, include Royal Canin, Hill's Science Diet, Purina ProPlan, Iams and Eukanuba. All of these brands have been formulated by a veterinary nutritionist and have been appropriately tested. I think Royal Canin (or one of the other brands I'd mentioned) is a much better option than Merrick. I hope this helps and that all goes well!

Friskies is ok, it's not the best of the supermarket brands, but it's certainly not the worse. In terms of supermarket brands, I prefer Purina, but if Atticus has been eating Friskies his entire life, I'd keep giving it to him. Best of luck, I hope this helps!

What is the best and affordable wet cat food?
Brands I recommend include Royal Canin, Hill's Science diet, Purina ProPlan, and Iams. The first three brands are a little pricier, but they are very high quality. Iams is also high quality, but it's at a more reasonable price. If you are looking at a supermarket brand of wet cat food, I recommend Purina. I hope this helps!
