Hi i'm Oliva, I have a three year old Yorkie named Wolf. He has had problems before where he doesn't eat his breakfast all day and I come home to stomach acid all over the floor. Today when i got home he was curled down staying very low to the ground licking his lips. He then threw up stomach acid. I tried giving him a little turkey and he ate that and hes eaten it before with no problem. But within five minuets he threw that up too. I'm just worried because it has never happended to this extent

Hi Olivia! It sounds like poor Wolf is a little sick at the moment. He could have a GI illness causing this vomiting. I can give you a home remedy to try to see if that helps. Withhold food for 12-24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, he vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away. Good luck, I hope this helps!
