My dog's penis is hanging out, bleeding, and won't go back in. Help!

Hi my dogs penis is hanging out and it wont go back in. It seems to be bleeding. I googled the causes of infections and bleeding seems to be one of them. I also have another male dog that keeps licking him. Is their anything that i can give him to make it better or atleast help him? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | 12 lbs

This could be from an infection, tumor, or trauma to the penis. In order to solve this problem, the exact cause needs to be diagnosed, so the specific treatment can be given. The longer the penis is out, the more difficult it will be to treat, so I recommend taking him to a vet as soon as possible to get this treated. The best thing you can do for this at home is flush the area with cold water for five minutes, three times a day. Avoid putting any ointments or chemicals on it, because it will just be licked off and can make the condition worse. I hope that helps and Pinto gets better soon.
