Is my homemade diet healthy for my senior dog with an enlarged heart?

i have a 7# senior yorkie with an enlarged heart. i feed him canned chicken breasts in water, rice, carrots, s/beans, and a little water. is this a healthy diet for my guy. Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Male | unneutered | 7 lbs

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! While this would be a good short term diet, this lacks some key nutrients, vitamins and minerals. For that reason, a more complete commercial diet such as any of the Purina Pro Plan or Science Diet foods would be more appropriate. Good luck!
