My dog has a lump on her belly. Is it a nipple or needs vet check?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | 40 lbs

Is it just a deformed nipple? Or should we take her in to get it checked out? It's on her underside. She's a Labrador and bull dog mix if that's important.

I think it would be worthwhile having her evaluated to make sure that it does indeed look like a nipple and to ensure it is not something else like a mass or nodule. Based on an examination, your veterinarian would be able to tell you if this should be biopsied or not. Good luck!

    This lump needs to be checked and analysed as there are many conditions and types of tumors that could look like that. take Annie to the vet, they will perform a fine needle aspiration on the growth and send it to the lab for analysis. when the result comes, the vet will advise what needs to be done according to the diagnosis.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! I am afraid that while this could be an extra unilateral nipple, it actually is most likely a cutaneous mass. This could be a benign or malignant growth. This is often differentiated by a test called a fine needle aspirate (FNA) which is a pain free, inexpensive and easy procedure which in most cases will help reach a diagnosis. Paisley has a lump on her right side next to her nipple. It’s very soft and doesn’t seem to cause her any pain. Is this something to be concerned about? Is it possibly a tumor?
Thanks for using Boop by Petco! This is in fact likely a tumor or growth. This could be a benign or malignant growth. There is no way of knowing what it is just based on its appearance. This is often differentiated by a test called a fine needle aspirate (FNA) which is a pain free, inexpensive and easy procedure which in most cases will help reach a diagnosis. Sometimes a biopsy is needed for a definitive diagnosis. I recommend that you have her evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. I am really hoping for something benign. My female dog who's very small has lumps under her nipples in your tummy area she's eating well and still happy what could this be shes just turned 1
Hello. This is probably benign mammary hyperplasia, but you do want to have this looked at, especially if she has been spayed. If she has not been spayed & has never been with a male dog, then this could be related to a false pregnancy. Also, has she been in contact with anyone who is on hormone replacement therapy? Sometimes, this can rub off on a pet & cause mammary enlargement. If no outside cause can be found, then have her spayed if that has not already been done, & submit a biopsy to see exactly what is going on with the tissue. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

I found this bump on my 9 months old puppy and I don't know if should be worried or not.

I don't think she's pregnant her belly isn't hard and her vulva isn't sticking out but she has milk coming out of one nipple. The nipple has a hard lump in it that moves around. It isn't mastitis she doesn't have any symptoms of it. Do y'all know wha
HI, thanks for using Boop by Petco! If the liquid coming from her nipple is brownish and there is a mass in the breast tissue it is likely a cystic mammary tumor. A lot of which are benign. Some breast masses in dogs are cancerous though. Usually it is recommend to spay them and remove the breast mass. Hormones play a role in the formation of the tumors. I'd get the mass checked out by your Vet and discuss removing it to biopsy. Good luck!

I recently found a lump on one of my dogs breasts. I don’t know if I should take her to the vet or not, I researched online and I think it might be a memmary tumor .
Hi there and thank you for using Boop by Petco to address our concern. Judging from the photos, it appears that the mass is associated with the mammary gland. Some dogs can have a larger amount of fat and glandular tissue that is normal and nothing to be concerned about. However, this could be a primary mammary mass that needs further testing. Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Thanks for the picture. It appears to be a growth on the nipple. If it is new or has increased in size I would have it evaluated by your Vet. It could be a benign growth like a cyst or hyperplasia of the nipple or it could be a mammary tumor. Your Vet can discuss possibly aspirating it if they are concerned or removing it for biopsy. Hi there and thank you for using Boop by Petco! Seeing that Annabella is unspayed and based on your description, I suspect what you are seeing could be mammary tumors that have become ulcerated. I would recommend having a veterinarian examine these so that the most appropriate diagnostics and treatment recommendations can be made. In dogs, 50% of mammary tumors tend to be cancerous and should be surgically removed. I hope this helps! I'm concerned with this mass that has grown on my dog's belly. Ive been tracking it for two weeks and it seems to be growing in size.
Hello, & thank you for using Boop by Petco. The end of the nodule seems to have an ulcerated appearance which concerns me. Definitely have your vet take a look at this. I would recommend removal & having the tissue sent for pathology for identification. It looks like a full excision should be curative. Hope this helps. Take care.

Hi I have a 11 year old miniature poodle female. I noticed a a black spot on her nipple that has never been there before. I was wondering if it can be breast cancer?
