Why is my Jack Russell's ear sticking out and not its normal V-shape?

My jack Russell's ear seems to be sticking out to the left not the usual v shape doesn't appear to be painful

There may be irritation and inflammation in the ear canal from an infection or trauma that is causing displacement and sensitivity. You can try Benadryl to help and to clean the ears. If this does not help you need to have the ears checked
