Pug puppy coughs, chest pops, and tires after pneumonia. Why?

Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Female | 3 months and 4 days old | 6 lbs

Hi, we've had scans on the chest heart looked good lungs looked clear recently had pnumonia been on anti biotics and pain meds seems to be a popping of the chest when breathing and stomach moves alot plus faster heart rate than normal, temperature if fine eating and drinking as normal bouts of playing and very active but then begins to cough and fag and tire out she weighs 6 pound 2 not sure if that's small for a pup her age?

Hello there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to address your concern. If Ebony still has a respiratory infection, it is going to be even more difficult on her body because of her narrow nostrils, which may explain the difficulty breathing. This breed will typically have a hard time when dealing with a respiratory infection because they are unable to move air through their nostrils efficiently. I would recommend taking her in to be seen by a veterinarian and have chest x-rays performed to see if there are any abnormalities that need to be addressed or more infection that requires further antibiotic therapy.
