Why is my poodle's nose wet and cold, even though he's warm?

Pet's info: Dog | Toy Poodle | Male | unneutered | 8 months and 6 days old | 7 lbs

My toy poodle has had a wet cold nose for weeks he hasn't had this before he also does not like the cold and loves keeping warm even jumping into bed with me if he feels cold through the night and still his nose is cold and wet

I think this sounds normal. As long as Oreo is not sneezing and does not have any nasal discharge I think he is just fine. Whether or not the nose being cold, wet or dry being an indication of illness is an old wives tale. As long as he is acting normally I would not worry about it. Just monitor Oreo for any signs of illness and if you notice any you should take him to your vet at that time for an exam. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
