How to punish my dog to do poop or pee in house?? I am training him from 2 months but still sometimes he don't call me to go outside for poop and do it inside..But when I punish him he know that he done a wrong thing..So how to punish him?? A good, humane way to punish a dog is to make a loud noise (loud enough to scare him), or squirt him with water. However, the punishment has to be done within three seconds of him pooping or peeing. If you punish him after this time, then he will not know what he is being punished for. Also, it's a good to reward him when he poops or pees outside. This will also help with the training. Again, the reward has to be within three seconds of the action, or he will not know why he's getting rewarded. I hope that helps and all is well with Max.
