My dog gained weight after heat. Is it false pregnancy or another issue?

Hello, my dog, Umi, in the past month has gained about 3 or 4 lb. She finished her estrus mid-october. I took her to the vet last Tuesday and he thought it was a false pregnancy but there are no other symptoms besides the weight gain. She's not in pain but she is uncomfortable and ungainly. Food and water consumption Remains the Same. Urinates and defecates regularly as well, however at times while defecating she has started to go a second time, producing thin stools. Poor girl. I would suspect that she may have organ enlargement and not a false pregnancy, especially if he mammary glands and vulva are normal size and she isn’t producing milk. I would recommend considering getting an abdominal radiograph done on Umi to look for any enlargements in the abdomen. Hopefully this will give you your answer.
