My dog who is twenty pounds licked little ceaser garlic butter. It was almost empty. Should I take her to a vet or just watch her? Will she be alright?

Hello there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to address your concern. It is likely that she will be ok as there is likely not enough garlic in the amount she licked to cause serious life threatening side effects. You may see vomiting or diarrhea, but this should resolve after 24-48 hours. If Cuddles becomes lethargic, is vomiting blood, inappetant, etc. then I would recommend having her examined by a veterinarian. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be happy to help you further.

Thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach with your question about Nelson! While it's not good that he licked some garlic butter off an elevator floor (that's so gross lol), there will not be enough garlic in this butter to cause a problem. He should be fine, and there is no need to rush him into an ER vet. I hope this helps!
