Pet's info: Dog | Bulldog | Male | neutered | 65 lbs
My dog has been throwing up for a few days now, although he’s still eating and keeps his food down. The only thing coming up is water/clear liquid. He continues to drink water so he’s not dehydrated. I’m wondering can dogs get a flu/stomach bug like humans can? The first day (2 days ago) he didn’t eat, but he did yesterday and today. He was also shivering the first day it started but it only lasted the one day.

Hi. It isn't normal for going on that long. I'd get him checked out just to make sure he's ok, and I would recommend bloodwork, x-rays and a fecal. It is good news that he is still eating and drinking. Pets can get different bacterial and viral infections, yes, that can affect different systems.
