We have a 3 year old rescued Poochon that loves me but is terrified of my husband. She is always on alert when he is home. She cannot relax when he is home unless she is sitting with me. What can we do to help her to get over her fear? We have had her with us for six months.

Royal canin calm food can be very helpful with anxiety and nervous behaviors, as can thundershirts and pheromone products. I would also recommend your husband feeds and walks her in the garden for toilet breaks so she can build up her confidence with him in positive, non-threatening routine patterns of behavior
