They gave us a bottle of of the dogs medication and a small syringe and said to give it to her once a day until the medicine was gone but there were no instructions on dosage. The box with the pharmacy, doctor, and dosage was not with the medication - only the bottle. We cannot get in touch with the owners, and have no idea who the vet is. Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Azithromycin is an antibiotic. We commonly prescribe it for upper respiratory infections or infectious coughs. I have used it to speed up the regression of viral papillomas. The medication is once daily and should be given with food. I would give her no more than 0.50 mls once daily. I hope this helps!
