Can my dog carry bacteria harmful to babies? Vet tests & cost?

What type of bacteria does a dog hold to kill an infinite? Can a dog be tested out for bacteria? & if so is it expensive to take that test

I assume you are asking about certain bacteria that can harm an infant. Dogs can carry certain bacteria and other diseases that can harm and even kill an infant, but this is very rare. If your dog is healthy, then this is a very minor concern. The best way to ensure that your dog is not harboring any infectious pathogens (bacteria, viruses, parasites) is to schedule a wellness exam your veterinarian. They will be able to test for diseases if there is a concern.
