Should I worry about my husky puppy's mixed blue and brown eyes?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Husky | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 21 days old | 15 lbs

My husky puppy has a mixture of blue and brown in both eyes on the left it’s brown on the bottom blue on top and on the right it’s blue on the bottom brown on top. Two people said that it is not good sign. Is there anything I have to worry about.

Hi and thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Not sure what the people mean that you have been talking to. We see mixed color irises in dogs all of the time and as far as I know, it doesn't raise any questions in my mind regarding those pets and there health or behavior. I hope this eases your mind a little. If not, talk to your veterinarian about it. Good luck
