My dog's stomach is red and itchy after a bath. What's wrong?

My German Shepherd had a full bath with deshed her stomach area looks likes it irritated From her scratching should I get this looked at ?

Hello. It looks as if Zoey may have a little irritation from the soap used in bathing her. Perhaps she was not completely rinsed off. You can re-rinse her in cool to lukewarm water, & give her 1mg per pound of Benadryl. This should clear up the irritation in a few hours. If it is not any better in a day or so, or if the irritation gets worse, she may need to be seen by a veterinarian for injectable antihistamines, & possibly some low dose steroids for a few days. Thank you.
