We have two dogs one was vomiting and throwing up. The other one soon after started vomiting and throwing up as well as bloody diahrea. It then began to be bloody and smell really bad. She died but the first dog is feeling better but still has black poop could that be from ingesting mistletoe?

I am so sorry to hear that your one dog passed away. This makes me very concerned for your other dog. Black feces, or melena, indicates a bleed somewhere in the GI tract. To my knowledge mistletoe does not cause this. I would be more concerned that the excessive vomiting and diarrhea has caused a bleeding ulcer. I would strongly encourage you to have Remi examined by your veterinarian for the best chance of getting her well. I hope this helps. Again, I am sorry for you loss.
