Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Mediumhair | Female | unspayed | 11 months and 5 days old | 2 lbs
Our 8 week old kitten has blue skin that is dark like a bruise on her shoulder blades and traveling up the back of her neck. She is eating, excreting and behaving normally and the area is not tender. She also has some hair loss in that location. We live in a third world country without access to vet care and we rescued our kitten from the street at 5-6 weeks old. Can you hep me figure out what's going on with our kitten?

Based on your description I would be suspicious of ringworm, which is a fungal infection that commonly affects young animals. If you can find a shampoo with ketoconazole that may be helpful, but she likely needs a prescription of an oral antifungal such as itraconazole. Please practice good hygiene after handling her as ringworm is contagious to people as well. Of course this is not a diagnosis, just an assumption based on your description. Best of luck and I hope she improves soon!
