Hi my cat is a 3 year old persian and suddenly started swaying and sometimes falling or loosing balance when walking. He did stumble on a few stars when playing 3 days ago. He is eating and drinking normally and going to the bathroom in the litter box. We took him to 2 vets today and his bloodwork came back normal and they looked in his eyes and ears and the first vet seemed to think fromt he xrays that he bottom of his spine was a slight irregularity in th contour of his lower spine.

Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! The signs you describe can be caused by an irregularity in the spine - this may cause the bones to compress the actual spinal cord, damaging the nerves that are responsible for controlling the back legs and tail. A veterinary neurologist would be able to further diagnose the condition and propose a treatment plan, your original vet may be able to recommend one. I would be happy to take a look at x-rays or bloodwork and answer any questions you may have about them!
