My pregnant dog was hit by car, hasn't peed or pooped in 2 days?

My dog is about 4 week pregnant she was run over two days she hasn't pee or stool no blood leaking anywhere no broken bones just very sore and hasn't gone pee or poop. Pet's info: Dog | American Staffordshire Terrier | Female | unspayed | 2 years and 9 months old | 80 lbs

Poor Lily! I am really concerned that she hasn’t peed or pooped since the accident. She could have ruptured her bladder or have something preventing her from pooping. I would have your vet take a look at her especially since she is pregnant. Your vet will be able to see if her bladder is intact and hopefully see why she isn’t pooping. She may also be dehydrated and need some fluids. Your vet will also be able to do bloodwork if needed. If your vet has an ultrasound, they should be able to check on the puppies as well to ensure their heartbeats are strong since she is 4 weeks along. I hope this helps!
