Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 10 months and 3 days old | 28 lbs
My 10 month old puppy (~28lb, mixed breed) was diagnosed with demodectic mange 2 months ago. A small bald spot on her cheek was the the only sign. The vet plucked hairs near the bald spot and examined under a microscope then prescribed Bravecto and Heartguard. The new medications seemed to work since the hair regrew quickly in that spot on her face. Recently I noticed under her front legs she has areas with less hair than the rest of her underside. Should I be concerned?

I would recommend having your veterinarian recheck Bella and make sure that she does not still have demodex. Your veterinarian will have to look under the microscope again to make sure. If she was only treated with one round of medication she may need anther dose. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
