My 11-month-old kitten is vomiting unchewed food. What should I do?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Bombay | Male | neutered | 10 months and 27 days old

My kitten is 11 Months and I feed him good quality biscuits but he has recently start spewing Them up. most of the time the biscuits come out unchewed or digested, apart from one time when it came out all soft and mushy. He has been vomiting mainly just once a day for the past week. Apart from that he seems very healthy and energetic. I don’t know what could be the problem.

Try feeding smaller, more frequent meals. If Smokey eats fast, try a 'slow feed' bowl to address the issue. Sometimes, switching to a canned food may help. If the vomiting persists or worsens, have him examined by your veterinarian.
