Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 1 year and 2 months old | 14 lbs
Our older cat, Lola, spends a lot of time licking our kitten, Mowgli. There's around a 1 year age difference between them and we got the kitten almost a year after Lola and they're both males so we don't think it's a maternal thing. Was just wondering what this meant and if it is something we should keep an eye on, thanks.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This is normal cat behavior. Grooming each other is natural. As long as Mowgli isn't bothered by it and Lola isn't obsessive it is fine. I'm glad that they love each other so much! I hope this helps and I wish you all the best!
