My old Pomeranian is losing weight and has digestive issues. What to do?

I have a 14 yr old female pom who has definitely lost weight and I don't know what to do about it. She had 20 teeth removed almost 2 years ago and was doing fine until the last 6 mos....its hard to switch food with her because she has serious digestive issues with that. Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Female | spayed | 14 years and 3 months old | 8 lbs

I'm sorry to hear Kenzie is having an issue! Unexplained weight loss can be caused by a number of things including, but not limited to, kidney or liver disease, heart disease, inflammatory bowel disease, diabetes, and unfortunately, cancer. Without a physical examination it's impossible to say what is causing Kenzie to lose weight. I recommend having Kenzie examined by a veterinarian soon.
