My dog growls and bites over food. How do I stop this aggression?

My dog get really aggressive when anybody tires to touch his food or treats. He tries to bite and he growls and it’s really scary. It’s like he isn’t the same dog anymore! He is a rescued beagle please help! Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 9 years and 11 months old

If these measures do not work, then I typically recommend using a service such as Bark Busters to come to your house and help correct this behavior.
