Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 8 months and 2 days old | 8 lbs
I have a 7 month old tabby, producing diarrhea for roughlly a week, he's a male who is very lively and hasn't lost any of his qualities. He isn't losing weight and seems fine in himself. The stools are light brown in colour no dark marks or blood noticeable. He's an indoor cat and is up to date with vaccinations and worming, The only thing we can think is that he is becoming intolerant to the kitten food he is on? any advice would be welcomed thanks. Sam

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I think that dietary indiscretion as you pointed out could certainly be a possible reason for Eddie to having diarrhea. You can try to switch to a sensitive stomach type diet like the Science Diet healthy development diet for kitties. If no improvement is noted then I recommend that you have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment as other things are possible like intestinal parasites. Good luck!
