Is cooked chicken or red meat safe for my cat? What about hormones?

Hi, the vets here say you I can feed my kitty cooked red meat & chicken but pet owners here say the food we eat has hormones & it's not healthy for pets. What do you say ? Pet's info: Cat | Himalayan | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 24 days old | 6.6 lbs

It has nothing to do with hormones, these hormones are also present in cat food you can be sure of that. the problem with home made food, it's difficult to make it balanced enough for your cat, this is why a commercial diet is usually better.
