I'm vegetarian, does my dog need meat for optimal health?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | 4 months and 5 days old

Is non veg is necessary for my dog to give as I am fully vegetarian...I am feeding him royal canin ..What is the difference between non veg german shepherd vs vegetarian german shepherd?? Is it effects height,weight or handsomeness of my dog??

Because dogs are mostly carnivorous it is healthiest to have your dog on a meat based diet. Dogs can survive as vegetarians but it is certainly not the healthiest option. Vegetarian dogs may be prone to health and skin issues.
