Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 2 lbs
Red spot, dry, scaly, hair loss on 9 week old kittens ear. We rescued him from a not so caring home but he has only developed this spot since he has been at our home. We bathed him in dawn dish soap to kill the fleas he has when we got him home. If that matters. Any ideas on what it could be or what i should do? I have a picture if there’s a way to send it.

Congratulations on adding Tiger to your family! There is a chance that its bacterial but I would be most concerned thats ringworm (which you can get from him!). I would recommend to take him into the vet for fungal testing and medications to start treatment just in case (while you are waiting on the results). I would also recommend to start him on a flea treatment such as Revolution as this will provide longer protection than a bath! Please let me know if you have any further questions!
