Why is my rescued kitten scared of going outside? Is it normal?

So I found my kitten outside, I was wondering does that have anything to do with the fact she is terrified to go outside? Or is it normal for cats not to want to go outside she is almost 5 months old. Pet's info: Cat | Bombay | Female | spayed | 4 months and 27 days old | 11.3 lbs

It is hard to know what Luna’s experiences were before adopting you, but I expect by her behavior that she may have had some bad experiences outdoors and does not want to repeat those!
