Pet's info: Dog | English Bulldog | Male | neutered | 9 years and 3 months old | 67.8 lbs
My bulldog was recently put on Temaril-P. It has made a huge difference with his allergies in his eyes. His eyes have been extremely red, dry, and had a bunch of gunk. Now that the Temaril-P has cleared that all up is there a way that I can maintain it after he is finished the Temaril-P? The first two photos are after the Temaril-P and 3rd is before while getting Cyclosporine and Genteal Severe Dry eye drops.

Hello, Temaril P is a combination of an antihistamine & prednisone, a steroid. You might talk to your vet about keeping Louie on a small dose, perhaps every other day or so. There are also some eye medications that contain steroids, so the steroid effect stays localized in the eye vs an oral steroid that goes systemic. You may have to try each to see what works best for him, while keeping the overall steroid exposure as low as possible. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
