Termaril should not cause this, If Dottie still has problems peeing tomorrow morning then you should take her to a veterinarian for an exam, urinalysis. She likely has a urinary tract infection and may need prescription antibiotics.

Poor Dottie! If she is having difficulty urinating, she could have bladder stones, a UTI, or could have bladder stones potentially blocking her urethra. Difficulty urinating is a medical emergency, as if her urethra is blocked, it could cause her bladder to rupture. Another cause might be that she could have herniated a disc in her back, leading to damage to the nerves that innervate her bladder. Dachshunds are prone to intervertebral disc disease (IVDD), and a disc can herniate suddenly leading to problems with walking, and bladder and bowel control depending on the location of the disc that has herniated. I would take Dottie into a vet immediately. The vet can do a physical exam, routine blood tests, a urinalysis, and x-rays to diagnose what is causing her difficulty urinating, and can treat accordingly.
