My rat is falling, can't balance, and has a bulging eye. What should I do?

My rat is falling over. She can't keep her balance and one of her eyes looks bulged. We think she may have had a stroke or something because it doesn't appear to be an ear infection. I believe she is still eating and drinking but she just fell from the top story of her cage to the bottom story. Pet's info: Other | Unknown - Other | Female | unspayed | 1lb

Neurologic symptoms such as loss of balance, confusion, falling over, etc can indicate a serious neurologic disease. If Bb's eye is also bulging, it is best to seek veterinary care immediately. It is possible she has gotten into something toxic, is very ill, or is experiencing a problem with the muscles or nerves in her body.
