I have a rabbit that seems to have an ear infection. The ear is hot to the touch and inflamed. It is full of ear wax and smells bad. What should we do to help? We're short on money, and would rather not see a vet unless it is completely necessary. Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Female

In this case, seeing a vet is absolutely necessary. Ear infections cannot be treated at home, and if they are left untreated, they can lead to hearing loss.
