Why is my puppy's poop orange and popcorn-like after eating candy cane?

My puppies poop is solid, but almost came out like pop corn, and is a weird orange, tan color. Her behavior is perfectly normal, energy levels find, eating a drinking normally. She did eat a candy cane earlier, could it be that? Should I be worried or monitor it to see if it continues? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | unspayed | 9 months and 9 days old | 10 lbs

You are correct that it could be due to the candy cane, both from the sugar and the artificial dyes in it. Given that Kali is normal otherwise, I would monitor her for now, and if it continues for more than 24 hours, then I would take her into the vet.
